About Reelife
Vibewire’s Reelife Short Film Festival has become an established part of the Australian independent film calendar, featuring up and coming young Australian filmmakers.
The festival is an event and forum for filmmakers to produce issue-based, cutting edge and progressive films, ranging in genres and styles that takes place every two years. Previously, topics have included multiculturalism and identity, sexuality, disability, homelessness, death, logging, rural isolation, environment and militarism.
The Festival has been running for six years now, with over 23 screenings in six cities featuring over 80 films.
