about vibewire

Vibewire is a launchpad for young changemakers. We believe that young people should create the future, not just inherit it.

We provide the resources, networks and programs to spark opportunities for young people to connect, create, innovate and grow. Established by Tom Dawkins (@tomjd) in 2000 on the belief that young people should be included in the economic and social conversations that matter. Now in 2017, Vibewire is a platform where young people can experiment with their ideas when making the future in this rapidly changing time.

When we say launchpad, we’re talking about – skills, space and showcase.
Vibewire’s common room – is a co-working space for creatives, freelancers, start-ups, entrepreneurs, activists, students, musicians, magicians, etc – who need a place to work and a tribe of do-ers.

In the past we’ve run programs including our popular fastbreak series with the Powerhouse Museum showing off up-and-coming projects run by young people. We create new projects, grow the skills of our community and showcase the great work being done by young people.

We’ll be announcing our new program soon, in the meantime, coming along to our intimate Start Up Sundays workshops and our hands-on improv sessions, Soapbox Club.

Subscribe to our newsletter to stay updated on everything happening, and stay in touch on facebook and our popular (good looking) meet up group.
