Running as a pilot program through October 2016, #StartupSundays is an open networking and mentoring event hosted by Vibewire. For Sunday, 9 October 2016 from 9:30am-midday, one of our mentors is Gavin Heaton.
A little about Gavin:
Gavin is a marketing technologist, strategist and advisor.
He is the founder of the Disruptor’s Handbook – a strategy and innovation firm that helps organisations design and create a collaborative future for a digital world. Gavin has worked at the intersection of marketing and technology for over 20 years for companies and clients including SAP, IBM, McDonald’s and PwC, has co-authored five books and is a regular speaker on marketing, technology, startups and innovation. He is a mentor at Telstra’s Muru-D accelerator and serves as president of youth organisation, Vibewire.
Be sure to book in for a session with Gavin.
The non-profit youth org saw Lucy take a swing at every curve ball, including Communications, Human Resources, Editing, Design and Business Development. In the last year she has settled down as one of Vibewire's Online Community Managers, loving the close contact she has with Vibewire's supporters on Facebook (link).
Academically, Lucy has dabbled in a variety of fields, including Literature, History, Arts and finally finding her place in a degree of Media and Communications at Sydney University.
When she isn't rolling with the Communications Team at Vibewire, you'll find her pointing her SLR at beautiful landscapes, break-dancing in her living room, and wine-tasting at her birthplace.
