About Vibewire
Vibewire is a launchpad for young change makers. We are a youth-led and youth-run not-for-profit whose mission is to help young people create their futures.
Established in 2000, we have launched the freelance, social enterprise and startup careers of hundreds of young people.
From within our Common Room co-working space, we saw and supported the very beginnings of:
- Movements like Oaktree Foundation, School for Social Entrepreneurs, Frank Team, ReconciliACTION
- Dazzling media and creative careers of Rachel Hills, Anna Klauzner, Biwa Kwan, Matt Clayfield, Amy Corderoy, Conor Duffy, Kate Evans, Ryan Heath, Siobhan Heanue, Leesha McKenny, Monica Tan and Angela Yeoh
- Startup innovators and founders like Pozible, &able, Major Raiser, Spotto, Alfred Lo, SaePod and dozens more.
There have been poetry slams, pitch nights, film festivals, hundreds of workshops and presentations.
And while Vibewire has a great history, it’s also about the future. We are constantly re-imagining and creating new ways to support the next generation of young leaders. But young leaders don’t just arrive on our doorstep. They need a place to belong, experiment, create change and yes, sometimes fail. That space is Vibewire.
